Quinoa and Millet Patty

Use our gluten- and sugar-free Quinoa and Millet blend to create warm, soothing soups perfect for meal times or as a snack. This simple recipe for Hot & Sour Qunioa Soup is quick to prepare, full of hearty vegetables, and high in protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked Inner Being Quinoa and Millet Blend
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leafs
  • 1 teaspoon roasted coriander seed powder
  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin seed powder
  • 1 large boiled potato(mashed)
  • 1 cup cooked green pea(mashed)
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 2-3 cardamom pods
  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 1 teaspoon each finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 eggs
  • Oil as required

Quinoa and Millet Biryani

To make the patty filling

Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and add chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli and sauté them for a minute. Then add rest of vegetables (mashed potato and green peas) and sauté it for 2-3 minutes. Add the cooked grain blend to the mixture and mix it well and season it with the spices (except for the cardamom) and fresh herbs. Allow the mixture to cool down. For the patty coating

Step 1

Roast raw rice in a pan for 2-3 minutes and blend the roasted rice in a blender and transfer the mixture in a bowl

Step 2

Beat the eggs and keep it ready for the egg wash.

Final procedure

Step 1

Mold the mixture into round flat balls (just like a patty) and freeze it for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Dip the patty in the egg wash and coat it with rice powder, repeat this process twice to a firmer layer of coating.

Step 3

Shallow fry the patty and serve it hot with your favourite dip.

Note- If you are using use air-fryer, then dip the patty only once in the egg wash.
